Shades of Fame Exhibit

Cool Papa Bell

This year's Hall of Fame class was largely comprised of former Negro League players who were finally enshrined. The art on display was impressive.

I love this kind of stuff. It may seem strange, but even though I'm not big on watching baseball on TV for hours and hours, I do like the history of most sports. I've always considered myself a Sports Center kind of girl. I only have enough attention span for the highlights.

I wish I had some better pictures as Cooperstown is very camera friendly for a musuem. It is a sad legacy of baseball especially being a Red Sox fan and considering their history as the last team to integrate and even then doing so at a glacial pace in token acknowledgement. It is good to see the Hall make amends, however late, as noted by this year's class comprised of many former Negro League stars.
