I think most of our neighborhood was without power for at least a few hours yesterday. It was a perfect opportunity for an afternoon nap followed by some delivery pizza. I found this song in my email from some time last year.
I love that pic. We were lucky and never lost power. I think it's because after the tornado, there weren't any more trees to ruin powerlines in our neighborhood.
You know, down here, that ice storm would have taken out power for at least three days. These people fucking suck. I'm looking forward to being back in the land of people who know how to deal with life.
