Welcome to the Jungle

Together Club, March 1988 , TDC Korea

Clearly, we were the best and the brightest the 102nd Military Intelligence Bn had to offer. (Names withheld to protect the guilty. There were no innocent.) In the interests of equal time/fair play I will share this picture from Korea 1988. The slogan on the banner in the background is one of my favorites from our brethren in the infantry. Despite appearances we were in the Army not the Navy, not there is anything wrong with that.

So, is it don't ask OR don't tell, or is it don't ask AND don't tell?

Hmmm, very interesting stuff. I was in Korea from Feb '87 to Feb '88 in the 102nd MI, TCAE. Some of those people may even be familiar. Here are some pictures of the same corner of the TC for you (I guess we all hung out in that place). Notice that background picture changed... Hey, and where's the soju! (or was that just me?)

Kevin,

thanks for the pics. those are cool. some of my other friends from Korea may recognize the faces as they were there around same time you were. I arrived Jan 88 and left Jan 89.
